Spring is finally here and we are taking advantage of every free weekend we have! We are so lucky to live in such a beautiful area where you can be in mountain meadows one day, and then in the desert exploring Indian ruins the next. We hope everyone is enjoying the change of season and getting ready for your next adventure! We definitely are, and we can’t wait to show you what we have been up to!

  1. Your making me really miss the ruins and desert!! We have soooo much fun when we are in the Bluff area. Love, love the ruins!! We also had a very special 25 days traveling from ruin location to ruin location through northern AZ and NM. I can’t get enough! We saw very few flowering cacti this year since we moved on a little too early.

    1. My favorite is when the cacti blossom and you can see red everywhere! It’s so pretty! We sure love to explore the ruins and wander around, we need to add NM to our list and see everything around there!

  2. Happy Spring, Melanie! So glad it has finally warmed up–love that you’re out there, happily exploring. πŸ™‚ Beautiful photos, especially of that lush hillside. Looking forward to reading more about your explorations soon!

  3. I’m glad to read that you are able to be out and about again. I can feel your enthusiasm. Hurrah for spring, or better, summer! I am always ready for new adventures!

I’m curious, what does luck have to do with the beautiful surroundings you are living in? Isn’t it choice that brought you there or kept you there, and didn’t you decide to live there, because of its attraction and beauty? Or, was it a lucky job that opened up and encouraged you to move to Utah?

    1. New adventures are the best! We love to get out and explore and have so many places we want to visit this summer! It’s true we’ve stayed here by choice loving the surroundings and many places we can see. Just feeling very fortunate to have so many options so close and we don’t take it for granted!

  4. Wow. So fortunate that you have these at your doorstep.
If we were you, we’d do the same and get out as soon as the weather permits!

  5. Beautiful and your posts always leave my wanting to explore new areas even more. Utah is definitely high up on the list. Can’t wait to see more and share your adventures. πŸ˜‰
