We’re still here and surviving the winter, even though we haven’t been good at blogging about it! Did January feel like it was soooooo long for anyone else??? 😉 The whirlwind of Christmas and New Years came and went and now we’re counting down the days for warmer weather! Unfortunately for us, we still have a few more months of winter… so we are still finding ways to get outside as much as we can doing winter things that we love!
It’s the Fourth of July weekend and definitely one of our favorite weekends of the year!! For us, the Fourth of July always involves: fireworks, barbecues, and getting outside. Today we decided that we would try and beat the heat with an early morning hike up the back side of Timpanogos Mountain.
This past week Todd went on a back packing trip in the back country of the Wasatch Mountains. We usually go out and explore together, but I sat this trip out since it was a little too extreme for me. I love to go camping and hike all day, but to carry a 50 lb pack straight up hill and sleep in a make shift lean-to is not my idea of fun.
