Boulder

I've said it so many times before, but Fall in Utah is my favorite season ever! I love when the leaves start to change and the mornings start to get crisp, but the afternoons are still warm... and I really love the yummy comfort food I can start cooking again šŸ˜‰ but what I love … Continue reading Boulder

Between

This summer has been a busy one! We've had lots on our to do lists, been trying to get out as much as possible, and took our little buddy to the beach for the first time! It was so fun to take him to the water and see him explore in the sand (and eat it.) It was a refreshing change of scenery for us since we don't adventure off to the beach often, we are usually roaming around the desert without much water in sight.Ā

Zion

One of our favorite trips from last year was when we went down to Zion in the fall because we loved being able to see the colorful fall leaves paired with the red rock backdrop.Ā  Since we haven't had a chance to make it down to Zion this year yet, we decided to drive down for a quick day trip this past weekend.

Reef

It's been a crazy summer and seems like it went by in a flash! Did it fly by for anyone else?? We are so excited for the fall and it's definitely our favorite time of year! We love the cooler days and the crisp fall nights, and this is when we find ourselves out exploring every weekend! It's a nice change after a hot, busy summer filled with crowds everywhere you go!

Raven

This past weekend we headed down to Canyonlands for a sunset hike to False Kiva and some star gazing under the new moon. Out of the many times we have been to this area we have never done this monumental hike and I am so glad we were finally able to see it at sunset because this time of day casts the best shadows! The only thing I didn't enjoy were the bats that flew above us as we hiked back out! The desert seems to come alive at night with all the creatures above and around you! We decided to sleep in the back of the truck so we could spend the night looking at the stars. It was a quick, spontaneous trip but those have become some of our favorite because the memories we make last forever.

In Ruins

The last adventure we went on before we got married was a trip to Beef Basin. Beef Basin is a remote area in southeastern Utah about 50 miles southwest of Moab. It is encircled by Canyonlands to the north, Glen Canyon to the west, and Dark Canyon Wilderness to the south.

Hitched

We haven't been as active on the blog lately because we have had our biggest and best adventure yet this month!! We finally tied the knot! The past few months have been filled with wedding planning, getting hitched, and honeymooning - the most exciting and fun trip we have been on yet!
